Gravitational Shapes
Overview
Summary
Gravitational Shapes is a quick game I created to experiment with Unity's gravity system. In the game, the player can change the direction of gravity, using this ability to solve a variety of puzzles and progress to the next challenge. The shifting gravity mechanics offer a unique twist, requiring creative thinking to navigate each puzzle.
Design Goals
- Design a game using Unity's gravity system
- Create a game within a month
What I Worked On
Gravity Change
Pressing the spacebar changes the direction of the player's gravity, replacing the typical jump mechanic found in most platformers. This gravity-shifting mechanic is key to solving puzzles and navigating the environment, adding a unique twist to the gameplay.

Puzzles
To explore the gravity-changing mechanic, I created a series of puzzles and levels for players to traverse. Each level challenges players to experiment with gravity manipulation in different ways, using their newfound ability to navigate through increasingly complex environments.
